Dr. Rupesh is chief uro-oncologist at CIMS Cancer center Ahmedabad
He is first qualified Uro-oncologist of Gujarat who has done fellowship in Uro-oncology from cancer hospital. Having more than 10 years of experience in the field, He is leading expert among very few dedicated surgeons in this field.
His main area of interest to serve current standard of treatment based of recent evidence in Uro-oncology.
He is expert mainly in Laparoscopic and open surgery for Genitourinary cancer. He has done maximum number of Laparoscopy Radical Cystectomy with studer Neobladder Formation in Gujarat. Apart from that he is pioneer & expert in Laparoscopy partial Nephrectomy in Gujarat. He has procured specialized instrument for radical prostatectomy to preserve continence from Rajiv Gandhi cancer Hospital, Delhi and only Uro-oncologist of state who use this specialized instrument to give excellent outcome of surgery. Having experience of more than hundreds prostatectomies, he usually give perfect cancer control with adequate functional outcome.
He is awarded as best Uro-oncologist of INDIA in 2019.
He is active member of SOGO (Society Of Genito-urological Oncology ) and AUA ( American Urological Association )
He has published scientific paper for laproscopic radical cystectomy.
